My Jon Boat Project Before And After






After looking over all the jon boat builds on here i decided to overhaul mine. i got most of my ideas from fluke masters build. it definatly was a learning .. Before and after pics of my jon boat mod. For now, i’m looking for a jon boat. if i do convert a 14’ jon boat, i will definitely install two pedestal seats to keep the anglers’ weight toward the center line of the boat and help maintain balance. i made this a priority in my mind after watching this demonstration. i am currently looking into buying a 2003 g3 war eagle 1436 jon.

I have a 15' stick steer jon boat with trailer for sale. this is a project boat me and my son have been working on. we have replaced the floor with 3/4" pressure treated plywood.. The boat is a 2008 lowe 1436l, the trailer is a 2009 continental, and the motor is a 2007 mercury 9.9 four stroke. everything was bought 5 weeks before the finished pics were posted. boat and trailer bought new, motor slightly used.. Going to attempt to recover/restore upholstery damage to a 2001 monterey 180 edge..
